If you would prefer to work with a white background, you can change the default background colour. Before doing so, you need to have a model open (see Opening a Model for Simulation).

To change the background colour:

1. Select Tools > Options.
   • The Options dialog box is displayed.
2. Click on Application Settings.
3. Check the box labelled Use a white background.
4. Click OK to change the background colour.
   Note: Changing this option will update and activate the Toolbars Visual Config.

Or…

1. Locate the Navigation toolbar:
   
2. Click the button to switch between black and white background colours.
   Note: Clicking this button will update and activate the Toolbars Visual Config.

Or…

1. Modify the Background Colour setting in the active Visual Config:
   
2. Click OK. The background colour of the workspace will be updated.
